The artist of Firewood Treasures, Rick Smith, is dedicated to the philosophy that each tree is a specific creation of God, to be cherished and remembered. Its history is inextricably intertwined with that of the people and events around it. Here then are the stories of our trees, and of us.
The tree that moves some to tears of joy
Is in the Eyes of the others only a Green thing
that stands in the way.
Some See Nature all Ridicule & Deformity,
